Junior National Hereford Expo | Showmanship Judges

Continuing to make the Mad Dash to the Hereford Bash in Madison, Wis., this summer, we’re excited to announce the showmanship judges. Frank Jackson and his daughter Carlie Jackson, Mitchell, S.D. are senior and intermediate showmanship judges. Joining them for the top 10 old showman selection and considering the fitting team contest will be the 2023 Hereford Herdsman of the Year, Kyle Lemmon, Manchester, Md.

Frank Jackson is the general manager at Custom Genetic Solutions (CGS) in Mitchell, S.D., one of the leading bull studs in the industry. Before CGS, he worked at Northcote Angus in Virginia, Jac’s Ranch in Bentonville, Ark., and his family farm and feedlot business in Minnesota. Frank has judged numerous state and national shows across the country.

Carlie Jackson is a cattle territory manager for Merck Animal Health in South Dakota. She graduated from South Dakota State University (SDSU) in 2018 with an agricultural communications and animal science degree and was part of a competitive collegiate livestock judging team at SDSU.

Kyle Lemmon owns and operates Lemmon Cattle Company, where he grew up showing and raising Hereford cattle and has continued to pursue his career in the cattle industry by hosting four annual sales. He is a sales representative for Cattle Connect and operates a Vytelle IVF satellite location.
