Get to Know Your Sullivan Supply Sales Rep: Tyler Adcock

The Sullivan Supply Sales Representatives get the opportunity to travel to shows all across the country meeting and interacting with people from all over our Ag Industry. They have become the friendly, familiar faces that many have come to know. We wanted to allow our customer base to further get to know those faces in the window. Today we feature Sullivan Supply Show & Site Manager-Hillsboro, TX, Tyler Adcock. Tyler hails from the state of Illinois, where he grew up on a Purebred Simmental/SimAngus cattle operation. He exhibited Simmental cattle at the State and National levels for 14 years and was very involved in the Illinois Simmental Association. Tyler found his way down to Texas to finish his bachelor’s degree at Tarleton State University. Texas quickly found a place in Tyler’s heart and he decided he wanted to officially call Texas home. We have been lucky to have Tyler as the Sullivan Supply Show & Site Manager at our Hillsboro, Texas location for a little over a year now.

 

 

Tyler’s passion has always been agriculture, he has lived and breathed it all of his life so when the opportunity arose for him to combine his passion for agriculture and the livestock show industry, he was eager for the job. “The livestock industry is an incredibly unique industry. There are not many industries that you can get into and be able to receive help from your competitors. You can sit back at any livestock show, no matter the species, and watch so many go out of their way to help their neighbor or even just a total stranger. Watching all of this transpire is by far my favorite part of the show industry” says Tyler.

 

Meeting people is one of the biggest advantages to being a Sales Rep in the livestock industry. One of Tyler’s favorite opportunities from this position has been meeting and getting to know livestock producers, breeders, and exhibitors not only from Texas, but also from all around the country. Being involved with the livestock community and getting to know breeders and exhibitors likes and dislikes is helpful in accelerating the improvement of products and ideas. “Sullivan Supply is an industry leader for a reason. After working for this company, it’s exciting to be able to get involved in helping to improve our products and ways of doing things in order to better serve our customers” states Tyler.
