Our February Hereford Highlight is Salem Sifford, Goldvein, Va.
Salem is the president of the Virginia Junior Hereford Association and is very active in local, regional and national shows and Hereford Junior activities. She participates in various contests at the Junior National Hereford Expo each year and encourages others from her state to do so as well. She is also the president of her 4-H livestock and dairy clubs and is active in livestock judging and skillathon. This year she won the 4-H National Livestock Judging Contest, while continuing to lead her FFA chapter as president and Virginia Star Farmer. Congratulations Salem, continue being a role model to others.
