The Herdsman Award will be awarded to a senior member nominated and voted on by their junior Brangus peers. All nominations need to be submitted by June 5th.
Rules:
1. Any senior member ages 18-21 in attendance at the National Junior Brangus Show is eligible to receive the award.
2. An individual may receive the award only once.
Selection:
1. Nominations must be submitted to [email protected] by June 5th, with the top three nominees will be listed on the ballot.
2. Each exhibitor at the NJBS will vote by a ballot system, and ballots will be given in the exhibitor packet when they pick up their exhibitor bag.
3. Promotion of the candidates will be done throughout the week over announcements made during shows and contests and via social media.
4. Members are encouraged to watch the herdsman candidates throughout the week and get to know each other more before casting their votes.
5. Candidates are encouraged to use social media to their advantage.
6. Herdsman of the Year will go to the member who received most of the membership votes.
