Askarben Stock Show Introduces New Show Coordinator

Aksarben Stock Show and the Nebraska State Fair would like to introduce Tejlor Strope as the Aksarben Stock Show Coordinator.

Hello! I am Tejlor Strope, and I am excited to take on a more significant role with the Aksarben Stock Show and Nebraska State Fair this year as the Aksarben Stock Show Coordinator. Growing up in O’Neill, NE, I have always shown cattle. I have been fortunate to serve as the National Shorthorn Lassie Queen and on the National Maine Anjou Junior Board. My family travels to shows and exhibits at the local, state, and national levels with my brother, Berren. Aksarben is fond of my heart because my grandparents, parents, brother, and I participated in and exhibited livestock at the show. In 2021, I was honored to represent my family as a 2020 Heartland Princess at the Aksarben Ball.

I attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and received my Bachelor’s in Agriculture Education. I live in Pisgah, IA, where I work remotely and continue raising cattle, predominantly Chianina, Maine-Anjou, and Shorthorn breeds. This will be my second year working with the show, and I look forward to doing more in my new role and continuing to build and promote the Aksarben Stock Show, which is so near and dear to my heart.
