Deadlines for ordering and submitting DNA: STEERS Kits For mailing – must be ordered by April 19th. For Pick up from the Arkansas State Fairgrounds main office – order and pick up during normal business hours. This is available until May 5, 2024. The deadline for submitting the validation kit for STEERS is May 5th. All kits must be postmarked by May 5th or physically in the ASFG office by that date. ALL OTHERS (MARKET LAMBS, MARKET GOATS, MARKET HOGS, and COMMERCIAL FEMALES) Kits For mailing – order and pick up during normal business hours. This is available until July 1st. For Pick up from the Arkansas State Fairgrounds main office – order and pick up during normal business hours by July 15th. The deadline to submit the Validation kit is July 15th. All kits must be postmarked by July 15th or physically in the ASFG office by that date.
