All-American Junior Livestock Judge: Adrian Austin

Showtimes Magazine did an awesome write-up on Junior College Livestock Judging Standout, Adrian Austin. Check what she had to say in the article below!

“A big thank you goes to Showtimes Magazine for the opportunity to write this article about my success in the junior college livestock judging ranks. More importantly, I am thankful to be able to share a few words about how my family has helped me get to this point, and how the past two years spent with my teammates at Lincoln Land Community College have been truly special.
Today brought my time as a junior collegiate livestock judging student to a close. While it seems impossible that these two years are nearly up, I also know that time flies when you’re having fun. I am humbled to have been recognized as an All-American junior college judge, and am proud to have a teammate-Mason Gordon- receive that award as well. Having multiple team members from our school recognized as part of the top 15 JuCo judges in the nation is a true testament to the emphasis that is placed on Lincoln Land’s commitment to contest success in combination with academic excellence. I can’t say enough how thankful I am to have been apart of the LLCC judging program.
As stated in the article, the love I have for my family, my teammates, and Coach Craig Beckmier is second to none. I am blessed to be surrounded by such high class people who have made this journey absolutely unforgettable. We may all go our separate ways in the next few months and some of us have quite a few stops left in our judging careers at the university level, but the time spent with my team in that 12 passenger van is something I will remember forever.” – Adrian Austin
