As Show Barn Manager for Udell Cattle Company in Sioux City, Iowa, Greg plays an essential role in every aspect of the operation. From overseeing daily responsibilities around the barn to preparing cattle for production sales and major shows, he is committed to presenting livestock at the highest level while helping the program continue to grow.
Greg’s journey in the show cattle industry began long before his current role. Summer jobs during high school introduced him to the daily responsibilities of managing cattle and sparked an interest that would become a lifelong career. Along the way, he has worked alongside respected cattlemen and gained valuable experience in livestock management, cattle evaluation, and the dedication required to build a successful program.
For Greg, one of the most rewarding parts of the industry is being surrounded by people who are constantly striving to improve. That mindset has helped shape his own approach and continues to drive him every day, both in the barn and at cattle shows across the country.
