The Angel’s Announcement
Luke 1:30–31
“But the angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.’”
God’s plan moved forward in a quiet town when the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary. Chosen by God, she was told she would conceive the Son of the Most High by the Holy Spirit. Though she was a humble young woman, her “yes” changed history. Gabriel reminded her not to be afraid, highlighting God’s presence and protection. Mary’s obedience reminds us that God often works through ordinary people in extraordinary ways, and His promises unfold in perfect timing.
