Sunday Showbox Sermon – The Promise Begins

  Isaiah 9:6
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given… And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Long before the manger, God’s promise was spoken through the prophet Isaiah. He foretold the birth of a child who would bring hope, peace, and salvation to a weary world. This prophecy came at a time when Israel faced oppression and uncertainty, and yet God promised a Savior who would reign with justice and righteousness forever. As we enter this season, we remember that this promise wasn’t just for Mary or Joseph — it’s for all who trust in Him. The Savior who brings light into darkness was always part of God’s plan.
