Meet our Chianina showmanship judges for the 2025 junior national, Adam and Lindsey Hall! We are thrilled to have them join us in Louisville very soon.
Adam and Lindsey Hall own and operate Maplecrest Farms, a seedstock operation specializing in high-quality Angus, Simmental, and SimAngus genetics in southern Ohio. Adam and Lindsey have 2 children, Holden and Henley, who they look forward to raising in the livestock industry.
Adam grew up raising Simmental cattle in West Virginia and earned his degree from The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute. His hands-on expertise spans every aspect of the cattle operation—from calving and breeding to nutrition and forage production. Adam oversees the daily operations of the family operation.
Lindsey is a lifelong Angus breeder and grew up working alongside her family at Maplecrest. She was actively involved in the National Junior Angus Association where she served on the National Junior Angus Association Board of Directors and was awarded the Dean Hurlbut Award as Champion Showman of the NJAA Showmanship Contest. Lindsey earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science from The Ohio State University and her masters in ruminant nutrition from Kansas State University. Currently, Lindsey serves as an insurance agent for her family’s crop and livestock insurance agency, ICAP Crop Insurance, and is actively involved in the farm’s direct-to-consumer beef outlet, Maplecrest Meats & More.
