Meet 2023 Best of the Barns Sheep Showman, Carlie Christian.
Many may ask what does showmanship mean to you; to most it’s just a chance to get their project into the ring, however, for some it’s an art. Showmanship is about accuracy, teamwork, and intensity. Showmanship showcases the hard work and dedication you have not only in the ring, but at home as well. There are a variety of factors that go into showmanship, such as skin and hide, lambs attitude, professionalism, technique, all while competitively maintaining control of the lamb. Showmanship isn’t just a display of skills, it is a true testament of dedication, time investment, and intense hard work, all virtues of Carile Christian both within and beyond the show ring. We would like to applaud the 2023 Best of the Barns Sheep Showman – Carlie Christian.
