Stock Show University® Continues to Grow in Popularity and Online!

Stock Show University provides educational programs that cater specifically to youth, helping them develop skills to compete with their show livestock projects. Stock Show University is a COMPLIMENTARY service to anyone that has a spark to learn. All ages and skill levels are welcome, from beginner to advanced. We host clinics at shows and homes across the United States, including beef expos, major shows, and junior nationals; all FREE of charge! Clinics range from convenient two-hour clinics to comprehensive, in-depth two-day clinics called Graduate Programs. The best and most talented “professors” in the business will focus on all areas needed to achieve the championship look — show day fitting/clipping, animal selection, showmanship, daily hair and animal care to name a few.  At Stock Show U our motto is, “We stay until the last question is asked.”

Tess Mittag, Manager of Stock Show University, states, “This spring, Stock Show University® is proud to announce that we catered to 1,263 participants during the 6 Grad Programs we hosted — which were in the locations of New Mexico, Florida, Illinois, Texas, Idaho, and Maine.”Stock Show University® is continuing to see growth at the hands-on clinics and programs, along with the virtual aspect of the Stock Show University®. “Stock Show University Grad Programs are the ultimate experience for exhibitors and their families that are wanting to take it to the next level within the industry.  One of my favorite things to see during the Grad Programs is to see participants at the beginning of the programs, versus seeing them after the program is complete. You can see that their confidence grows behind skills such as using the clippers or pulling a back leg. Even if you can’t make it to one of our programs, there are other educational resources that allow our customers and participants to learn virtually. The Stock Show University Online® videos and Stock Show University® educational articles are designed with a simple layout to make it easy for the user to learn. Our team is continuing to produce resources to answer the questions we get on the road, to help others that might be new to the program. I am truly excited to see the future of Stock Show University® and continue to deliver educational opportunities and resources to our customers to strengthen the industry as a whole.”
