Lot 1
Sire: SAV Bismark 5682
Dam: JBSF Proud Mary
Birth Date: 9/12/2018
Sex: Heifer
Breed: 50% simmental
Comments: JBSF Proud Mary the 2016 Jr. National Champion Female along with the 2016 Iowa State Fair Supreme Champion Female as well as the 2016 NAILE Open and Jr. Show Champion Female is quickly living up to her expectations of her successful show career and now putting that into her progeny with her first set of calves in 2018. Her Lot 1 SAV Bismarck daughter is the first of Proud Mary’s half bloods to sell and boy is this a good one to lead off our 2019 No Bull Sale. This heifer is so massive in her body shape combined with overall substance and muscle mass yet still maintains the right kind of smoothness and look. This heifer got a tick fat on us around picture and video time and is going to need a low maintenance diet. We think the ceiling is very high on this particular female.

Lot 7
Sire: SULL Ferrari 6597d
Dam: SSUL Jalynn 7281
Birth Date: 9/12/2018
Sex: Heifer
Breed: 12.82% chianina
Comments: Our program at Sullivan Farms strives to raise some of the best show cattle in the country. This female is a prime example of the quality and depth of show heifers that you can come to expect to see at Sullivan Farms. This female has a unique combination of extra pizzazz and look, incredible body shape and a big stout square hip maintaining that into a maternal design. This is another Chianina show heifer that can go out and compete at the highest level. Her full sister sold for $69,000 through the 2018 Maternal Legends Sale. Lot 7’s sire, SULL Ferrari, is one of the best herd sires of a combination of maternal traits and show heifer design that we have ever produced at Sullivan Farms. He will be used heavily in our Chianina and ShorthornPlus program at Sullivan Farms for years to come.

Lot 15
Sire: SULL Red Knight
Dam: SULL Roses Are Red
Birth Date: 9/23/2018
Sex: Heifer
Breed: shorthorn
Comments: This has been one of my favorite Shorthorn heifers and a stand out from day one of our 2018 Fall heifer offering. As we are committed to standing true to our word and offering all and our very best Shorthorn Fall heifers, this heifer Is definitely at the top of our list. She is so correct starting at the ground combining incredible look and femininity with some added true muscle shape. And, the best thing about this female is that every day she just keeps getting better and better. Another added bonus with this female, with this future champion, is that she is a full sister to SULL Red Knight Rose 6452, that was the Grand Champion Female at the 2017 NAILE Open and Jr. Show along with, in 2017, National Jr. Shorthorn Show. This is one of my favorite matings over the past couple of years at Sullivan Farms.

Lot 25
Sire: LITTLE CEDAR Aviator 503x
Dam: Udell Glamour Girl 18B
Birth Date: 10/22/2018
Sex: Heifer
Breed: shorthorn plus
Comments: This is the first of the Shorthorn Plus progeny out of this young superstar donor, Udell Glamour Girl 18b. As we strive to produce some of the best show heifers in the country, this heifer represents our program very well. She is one of those females that can succeed at the highest level and comes to us in a unique design of structural correctness and added femininity and the right kind of maternal design. Not only will this one be a force in the ShorthornPlus division, but we think she can compete for Supremes overall breeds.

Lot 32
Sire: C Miles Mckee 2103
Dam: TCC Miss Shelby 82
Birth Date: 5/27/2018
Sex: Heifer
Breed: polled hereford
Comments: This young May heifer has really done the right things here the past 60 days. She is so sound and correct in her lines yet still maintains it into a showring look. Put this one into the right hands and I think you could see a lot of success with her on down the road. Don’t miss out on this female as she not only will be a successful show heifer but has the genetic makeup to be a big time one in the donor pen.
